Le trench.

This vintage, British made, Burberry trench first appeared in my book ('Knickers Model's Own - a year of frugal fashion' page 126 avid readers) and like all classics it just keeps on going. Looking rather dark and mannish on the hanger, once tied and accessorised it comes to life. I would (and shall) wear it as a dress, but that's for warmer days ahead.

The theme of France Day at my son's school found me reaching for this beauty and adding a beret, naturellement. The leopard print gives it a playful twist as do my ankle socks with t-bar heels. Strong lips and a Biba bag, et voilà mes amis, my homage to both sides of the Le Channel.
