45s will forever have a special place in my heart, for it's where music came into my life, shaping my fashion tastes, my opinions, my friendships. The sleeve cover was almost as important as the record itself, non so more than The Stone Roses whose band member and artist John Squire drew on his love of Jackson Pollock to create iconic artwork that would define the band. Although downloading is the easier, see-through option, nothing beats holding vinyl in your hand; placing the stylus down and enjoying the moment.
