Bright young things.

Chatting to one v v bright young thing, Melanie Rickey at the Boden AW17 Press Day last week (more on that collection to follow) I was fixated with her navy jacket: exquisitely tailored with symmetrically placed stem embroidery, she revealed her fashion card - Boden. Jeeesh she rocked it and in the selfie below I almost nabbed 'Rita' there and then.

Thankfully my own wait is over. Today sees the launch of Boden ICONS, a tightly edited, limited-edition Womenswear collection for Summer 2017. Design Director Mariam Boutorabi takes inspiration from the 1920s and 1930s when women started expressing themselves more freely through fashion. With the focus around in-house prints; beautiful fabrics (silks, cottons, Italian and Merino wool) and intricate finishing touches this is a collection that packs a punch of colour; of style; of cut and of confidence, investment pieces to see you through the summer months and beyond. Rita, Greta, Celeste et al, let's all hang out.......
