Autumn in May

One dress, styled 5 different ways. Yep, that's the challenge I've set myself this week, the aim to show you the versatility of this Marks and Spencer navy tunic flare dress (£45, code: T427023). Showcased last week at the Marks and Spencer AW17 press day, it's one of 5 released straight into stores and online under the title 'The Dress Edit', all priced at £45. Clever M&S for doing this, enticing me over to Autumn even when the sun has (momentarily) got me in a high summer spin.

I'm struck by all the detailing that Jo Jenkins (Director of womenswear) and team have packed in: the fluted sleeves, keyhole open tied back; the trapeze-like cut, the fabric weight and the concealed pockets. This dress seriously feels like it should have a zero on the end of the £45.
